1. Why should I advertise with Mysell.ie?
Mysell.ie makes sure that your advertisement
reaches all online shoppers in Ireland. It
is cheap and easy to use and is much cheaper
than traditional advertising such as print
media.
2. How much does it cost to advertise on
Mysell.ie?
It costs ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, that's right, it's FREE to place an advertisement
on Mysell.ie.
3. What do I get for my FREE AD?
You get to write a detailed description of
your product or service, upload photos or a
video and updates for three months. It is
easy, safe and secure!
4. When does my advertisement expire?
It expires after three months (90 days). If
you sell your product before this time
however, you should remove the ad to avoid
any further calls or emails. This will
automatically be done when you click the
"Mark as Sold" link within the Editing (My Account Page) section and
it will be added to our list of sold goods.
Make sure you do not press this button by
accident because once it has been Marked as
Sold, the ad is no longer visible in the for
sale section. |Placing another ad will
cost NOTHING again.
5. Can I upload photographs?
Yes!!! Uploading photos very straightforward.
You can transfer pictures from your home
computer via our upload tool. Instructions
on how to do this is available during the
process of placing the advertisement.
Mysell.ie advise uploading a least one
photograph as it will increase the response
to your ad.
6. Can I Edit my advertisement at any time?
Yes, you can Edit it by clicking the
"Editing Listing" icon once you login. This will
bring you through the step by step procedure to edit your entire listing. One of the best benefits
of using Mysell.ie is that it doesn't cost
you to update your ad within the three month
window, so you can do this as many times as
you wish.
7. I am unable to find my advertisement?
First you should check your email account as
we send a confirmation email to all
customers placing an advertisement. It can
take a few minutes for this email to reach
your account. If the email is not in your
inbox, check your junk or spam folders as
often the email can be sent there in error.
If you still cannot find the email, there
might be a problem with the email account
details you provided us. Log onto your ad
and check the email. If you are still having
problems please send us an email and our
team will handle the problem as promptly as
possible.
8. Is this a safe and secure website?
Yes it is completely secure. Our
service has European Standards of Compliance
which means that you are completely secure
when submitting your details. Your contact
information (other than that displayed with
your advert) is kept 100% confidential on
our dedicated database servers which are
hosted off site. (hosting365).
9. How do I pay for the goods sold on
your website?
You can either pay for your goods by Paypal,
Cash, Cheque or using Bank Drafts. Never pay
for goods through western union or similar
money transfers.
Mysell.ie never recommends for anyone to pay
in advance for any goods unless they trust
the source is reliable.
10. How do I know that tickets, C.D´s or
branded goods are real?
In relation to tickets, always verify the
authenticity of the goods by verifying the
serial number with the original publisher.
There is no way of knowing whether brands
are real however, beware if the goods are
cheaper than normal, of if the seller is
putting pressure on you to buy quickly. As the
saying goes, Caveat Emptor (buyer beware).
As part of our Usage Policy, Mysell.ie
curtail that every ad is 100% accurate in
description, so if the goods are in anyway
deviant from their description, please
report this to us immediately. Please also
visit the Advertising Standards Authority
for legal advice.
11. What happens if problems arise with
my product?
It is important that when you are buying
your product to get as much information
about the person you are buying the product
from as possible.
Try and get their home address, telephone
numbers and profession. Always get some kind
of signed receipt of purchase for the
product.
Please note that Mysell.ie cannot give out
any contact details of deleted ads in line
with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
12. How does the payment work?
Once you have placed your ad and entered
your personal details you will be taken a Thank You page. Once this is complete your ad
will be online immediately. |
